Sitting by the window..

I love my bedroom.. has to be my favourite room in the house. I am sitting next to the open windows looking out on to my 1/4 acre backyard. It's quiet and pleasant. I'm pondering a few things today... so watch this space!

Now that I'm single, I'm curious.

The title kinda says it all... I have only been single a couple of months, after 16 years with one man. The question rolling around in my head a lot now is; how many women come from long term relationships and find themselves looking for a 'f*ck buddy'. You know, someone they don't have to share everything with, someone they don't have to share emotions with... Just someone they can have a good roll in the hay with. Am I the only recently single woman thinking about this?

A bit about me.

I'm new to the blogging world, but not new to blogs. I'm a 37 year old Mum, with a 17 year old daughter. Currently single after 16 years... what a ride! Single is the new me, and I'm okay with it! I work in customer service/website support for a dating site... and as we go along I hope to share more about my time there, as a member for the past 9 years, and a staff member for the past year. Stay tuned... maybe we will learn heaps together on this journey of blogging. :)
